JSCP Coordinator
Born and raised in Jumla, one of Nepal’s remote regions, Hari Bahadur Budthapa has been working with SDA since 2006 and has dedicated many years to community service in the region. Deeply committed to SDA’s mission, he has played an important role in coordinating activities, supporting children and communities, and strengthening project implementation at the local level. In his free time, he enjoys agricultural farming and remains closely connected to his community and roots.
Sign Language Teacher
Yubraj Keshar Khanal is an experienced educator and social worker from Surkhet with a long-standing commitment to inclusive education and disability support in Nepal. With over two decades of experience in Nepali Sign Language training and advocacy, he has worked extensively to support children with disabilities and promote accessible education. He has also served in leadership roles within organizations dedicated to the welfare and empowerment of persons with disabilities.
Social Studies Teacher
Laxmi Mahat is an experienced educator with over 10 years of teaching experience and a passion for learning and community development. Based in Jumla, Nepal, she has a background in education and is skilled in Nepali, Hindi, English, and Sign Language. Her dedication to communication and inclusive learning reflects her commitment to supporting and empowering people from diverse backgrounds.

Kamal Singh Budthapa is a management professional with a background in business administration and experience spanning marketing, finance, and branch operations. With roles in banking, cooperatives, automobiles, and insurance sectors, he has developed strong skills in communication, leadership, and administration. Motivated and growth-oriented, he brings a positive approach to organizational development and continuous learning.
Aya
Devmaya Singh is a dedicated educator and advocate for inclusive education with long-standing experience supporting children with hearing disabilities. Based in Jumla, she has spent over two decades teaching and nurturing deaf students, contributing significantly to special education in her community. Trained in sign language and recognized for her service, she is committed to creating learning environments that empower every child to reach their potential.
Aya
Sundevi Budthapa is a dedicated caretaker and community worker from Jumla with years of experience supporting children and vulnerable communities and has been actively involved in social service since 2069 B.S. Through her role at SDA Nepal, she contributes to creating a safe, caring, and supportive environment for children while promoting community wellbeing and inclusion.
