Recognizing the importance of vocational skills alongside formal education, SDA introduced stitching and tailoring training for girls residing in the Literacy Home.
The programme provided sewing machines, practical training, technical instruction, and skills assessments. Girls learned tailoring techniques, machine maintenance, and basic income-generation skills. The project strengthened their confidence, enhanced future employment opportunities, and promoted greater financial independence.
