Teachers and Social Mobilizers Support in Two Schools (2017–2018)

Low attendance among teachers and students, weak school management systems, poor sanitation practices, and high dropout rates were affecting educational outcomes in several schools serving the Chepang community.
SDA supported teachers and social mobilizers in two schools to strengthen educational quality and community participation. Activities included monitoring school operations, supporting Early Childhood Development (ECD) classes, promoting hygiene and sanitation, and improving coordination between schools and communities.
The project contributed to improved teacher attendance, increased student participation, and stronger engagement between schools and local communities.
